Mini/Stoney pup 2011
"Annie" Now lives near Fargo, ND
Greetings! Thought you might enjoy an update on green collar #5…also known as Annie Scarlett #5. She is a very good natured dog and gets along well with her 10 and 5 year old black lab sisters, and adores her 3 year old human sister as well. She is not afraid to get jealous when someone else is getting attention, but she is a cuddler and has realized it feels good to have her belly scratched. My husband has started doing some retrieving training with her and she will make her first trip to our hunting land in a few weeks to help with spring planting. Very good dog and a wonderful addition to our family…thank you

Hey just wanted to let you guys know how Cal is doing. Opening weekend of duck hunting he did amazing! He did not hesitate to bring back multiple ducks and 5 geese. While at home he makes the perfect pet, he just lays in the sun all day and can't wait to lay by the fire at night. Last weekend he was busting ice to retrieve some diver ducks up north. I couldn't be more happy with him!
Tami/Blaze 2012 pup + plus training
After a long hiatus from dogs after our yellow had been put down and three kids later, we decided it was time to acquire a new pup for the family. With the daily obligations a young family presents, we decided we should skip the ‘puppy stage’ and look for a started dog opportunity. We were pleased with what we learned about the breeding and training of Smitty’s Labradors. After discussions with Mike pertaining to our desires; 1) good disposition female 2) smaller sized, and 3) started upland, we decided to go with the ‘orange collared girl’ from Tammie/Blaze. Our dog, Foxee, was born in January and came home to us in October, and she is perfect for our young kids. She has an amazing nose, uncompromised desire, and is extremely fast. Her disposition is great, she loves to play with the young kids, and even allows the baby to sit on her and pull her ears. A fantastic addition to our family!
